HAMBURGER CORN PONE PIE 
2 lbs. ground beef
1 lg. onion, chopped
2 tbsp. chili powder
Salt to taste
1 standard recipe of corn bread batter
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 lg. can tomatoes, chopped
2 cans chili beans

Brown meat and onion. Add seasoning and tomatoes. Simmer 15 minutes; add beans. Put meat mixture into large 9"x13" baking dish, saving liquid. Pour cornbread batter over top and work into meat with knife. Bake in hot oven, 425 degrees for 20 minutes. After removing from oven, pour liquid over top and puncture with fork so it will seep into meat.
