TOSTADA SALAD 
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 (1 1/4 oz.) pkg. taco seasoning mix
3/4 c. water
3/4 tsp. salt
1 (14 oz.) can red kidney beans, drained
4 tomatoes, cut into wedges
1 ripe avocado, cut in thin slices
1 (6 1/4 oz.) pkg. tortilla chips
1 head lettuce, torn into small pieces
4 oz. cheddar cheese, grated
1 c. onion, chopped

Brown ground beef in skillet; drain fat. Add taco seasoning mix, water, seasoned salt and beans. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.

Reserve some of tomato wedges, avocado slices and tortilla chips for garnish. combine the rest with remaining ingredients in a large salad bowl. Add ground beef mixture; toss lightly. Garnish with reserved tomatoes, avocado and tortilla chips. Serve at once.
