HOT BUTTERED BLUEBERRY SAUCE 
1 1/2 c. fresh OR frozen blueberries whole, unsweetened
1/3 c. granulated sugar
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour OR 1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. hot water
2 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. amaretto

Measure blueberries and have ready in saucepan. Combine the sugar with the cornstarch or flour and salt. Add the lemon juice and water. Stir until well blended. Then bring to a boil over high heat, whisking vigorously. Cool until thickened, about 2 minutes. Stir in berries, butter and amaretto. Serve warm or cooled.
