OVEN BEEF STEW 
2 lbs. stew beef
3 stalks celery, chopped
2 sliced onions
3 carrots, cut
1 lg. can tomatoes
1 med. can peas, undrained
4 whole cloves
1-8 oz. can tomato sauce
salt and pepper to taste

Place all ingredients into large oven-proof casserole dish and mix well.

Bake at 250°F for 5 hours.

Yield: 6-8 servings.
