SAUSAGE LOG | |
1 loaf frozen bread dough, thawed 5 to 6 eggs, cooked scrambled 1 lb. sausage, cooked (use mild or hot or combination of both depending on how hot you want it) Lots of cheese, grated (use a mixture of sharp cheese and Monterey Jack cheese) Roll out bread dough into an oblong"log" shape. Place on cookie sheet. Place sausage on the dough, place a layer of cheese then place eggs and then another layer of cheese. Stretch dough around the sausage, egg and cheese layers, pinch together along the top. Pinch ends together. it should look like a log. Place in oven bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes then reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake until crust is golden. Cut into slices and it is ready to serve. NOTE: You can bake the night before and cover and refrigerate and reheat in microwave. |
