HAMBURGER STEW | |
10 oz. hamburger, formed into 2 equal sized patties 1/2 c. canned mushrooms, drained 1/2 c. frozen green peas 1/2 c. frozen cubed carrots 1 beef-flavored bouillon cube or 1 packet beef flavored broth and seasoning mix 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp. dry, minced onion flakes 1 tbsp. dry parsley flakes Salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika to taste 1 c. cooked white rice Broil hamburger until done. Place on paper towel to drain. Pour tomato sauce in a large skillet over medium heat. Add Worcestershire sauce, bouillon, onion, parsley flakes, and seasonings. Mix thoroughly. Crumble hamburger into small pieces and add to mixture. Heat thoroughly 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally. Divide mixture into 2 equal portions. Serve each portion over 1/2 cup cooked white rice. |
