CREAMED DRIED BEEF 
1/4 lb. sliced dried beef
4 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. flour
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 c. milk

Tear beef in pieces. Melt butter in frying pan, add beef, and saute until light brown. Sprinkle flour and pepper over beef and blend well. Add milk, slowly, stirring constantly, and cook over low heat until mixture thickens and boils. Serve over hot biscuits or toast. Yields: 6 servings.
