GRAHAM CRACKER CRUMB CAKE 
1 c. sifted flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/4 c. graham cracker crumbs
3/4 c. milk
2 eggs
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1 tsp. vanilla

Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Combine graham cracker crumbs and shortening in a bowl; add dry ingredients. Add milk and vanilla. Mix until dry ingredients are dampened. Beat 2 minutes with electric mixer or 300 strokes by hand. Add eggs and beat 1 minute. Pour into greased 8-inch cake pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool and frost as desired.
