DUTCH CANADIAN ALMOND CAKE | |
1 lb. butter 1 c. brown sugar 1 c. white sugar 2 eggs, beaten 4 tsp. almond extract 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. baking powder 3 1/2 c. flour Slivered almonds Mix butter, sugars, eggs, extract, salt, baking powder, until fluffy. Stir in flour, spoon into ungreased muffin tins 3/4 full. Top with 2-3 almonds. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. |
