HUMDINGERS 
1 stick butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. dates (chopped)
1 1/2 c. Rice Krispies
1 1/2 c. pecans
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter, add sugar and chopped dates. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly. Add chopped pecans and Rice Krispies. Mix well and shape into balls about the size of a big walnut.
