SWEDISH MEATBALLS 
1 lb. ground beef
1 c. day-old bread crumbs
1 tbsp. onion, finely minced
1 tbsp. green pepper, diced
1 tsp. salt
Dash paprika
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp. butter
1 can tomato soup
1 can chicken broth

Shape ground beef, bread, seasonings and egg into balls no bigger than a quarter. Melt 2 tablespoons butter and saute onion and green pepper in it. Add tomato soup and chicken broth. Bring to boiling and add meatballs. If not enough liquid to cover, add boiling water. Simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
