EASY COCONUT CAKE 
1 box white cake mix (use egg whites & yolks)
1 (7 oz.) or large bag coconut
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. milk
12 oz. Cool Whip
Maraschino cherries (opt.)

Mix cake according to directions, using whole egg. Add coconut, reserving small amount to top cake. Bake according to directions. Mix sugar and milk and cook on medium to low heat and bring to boil. Pour mixture over cooked cake. Let cool and ice cake with Cool Whip. Sprinkle with coconut. Decorate with cherries if desired.
