CRANBERRY APPLE RELISH 
2 c. fresh cranberries
1 can (1 lb.) apple slices, drained and chopped
1 c. sugar
1 c. water
2 tsp. grated lemon rind

Combine cranberries, chopped apple slices, sugar and water in saucepan. Bring mixture to boiling iling, stirring until sugar dissolves. Continue boiling until berries pop open, about 5 minutes. Remove from flame and stir in lemon rind. Chill. Makes about 1 quart.
