PUNCH BOWL CAKE 
1 box yellow cake mix
2 c. crushed pineapple, drained
1 c. chopped pecans
2 cans cherry pie filling
1 lg. container Cool Whip
1 lg. box instant vanilla pudding

Bake yellow cake mix in a sheet pan. Follow directions on box. Allow cake to cool, then cut in half. Crumble one of the cake halves in bottom of punch bowl. Mix together pineapple, peaches, and cherry pie filling. Layer half of the mixture on cake crumbs. Prepare pudding according to directions on box. Pour half over fruit mixture. Crumble other half of cake on top of pudding. Layer remaining fruit mixture. Then remaining pudding. Spread Cool Whip on top. Sprinkle with chopped nuts or coconut, if desired. Add wild cherries too if desired.
