CREAM PECAN PIE 
1 c. canned milk
3 eggs, separated
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. flour
Dash salt
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. finely chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix milk and egg yolks together. Mix 3 dry ingredients and add to milk and egg yolks, add butter and nuts. Cook, stirring constantly, until thick, add vanilla. Cool, pour into a baked pie crust. Make a meringue with egg white and 3 tablespoons sugar. Beat whites stiff and slowly add sugar and beat until stiff. Cover filling and bake in 400 degree oven until golden brown.
