HAMBURGER - BEAN PIE | |
1 lb. ground beef 1/4 c. chopped onion 1 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 1 (16 oz.) can green beans, drained 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed tomato soup 1 c. Bisquick baking mix 1/4 c. water Heat oven to 425 degrees. Cook and stir ground beef and onion until meat is brown and onion is tender. Stir in salt, pepper, beans and soup. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally. Pour mixture into ungreased 1 1/2-quart casserole. Keep hot in oven while preparing topping. Stir baking mix and water to a soft dough. Gently smooth dough into a ball on floured cloth-covered board. Knead 5 times. Roll dough to fit casserole. Cut three slits in center. Place dough on hot mixture. Bake 15 minutes. Yield: 4-6 servings. |
