CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1 c. water
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 stick butter
2 eggs, well beaten
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. buttermilk
2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. salt

Bring water, cocoa and butter to a boil in saucepan. Combine remaining ingredients in mixing bowl. Pour boiled mixture over combined mixture and mix well.

Bake in sheet pan for 20 minutes at 400°F. When baked, ice with frosting.

Frosting:

4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 stick butter
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. pecans

Bring cocoa, milk and butter to a boil. Add sugar, vanilla and pecans.
