SUPPER ON A BREAD SLICE 
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 c. cracker crumbs
1/2 c. chopped onions
1 egg (optional)
1 tbsp. prepared mustard
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 c. grated cheese
1 loaf French bread

Combine all ingredients, except bread. Cut bread in half lengthwise, spread meat mixture over each half. Wrap foil around crust side of each half, leaving top uncovered.
