BEEF STEW 
3 lbs. beef, cut in 1-inch squares
6 pods garlic, minced
1 3/4 c. carrots, sliced 1/3 inches
2 c. celery, chunked
2 c. onions, chunked
2 tbsp. fresh parsley
3 c. potatoes, chunked
3 bay leaves
2 tbsp. fresh basil, finely chopped
1 tsp. powdered thyme
Salt and pepper to taste
Ragu chunky garden style sauce with mushrooms and green peppers

Cook beef until done. Remove from broth and add all ingredients except sauce. Cook until all vegetables are done. Remove 3 bay leaves and add beef and sauce; heat through. Serve with garlic bread.
