2 lbs. veal or beef 2 lbs. pork 3-4 onions 3/4 bunch celery Salt and pepper 1 lg. can bean sprouts 2 sm. cans mushrooms 1/2 (5 oz.) jar La Choy brown sauce 1/3 (3 oz.) bottle La Choy soy sauce Brown meat well and add brown sauce. Stir carefully. Add onion and celery. Add water to cover well (2 inches over). Add more later, if needed. Add soy sauce and simmer 2 hours, adding water if needed. Add mushrooms and bean sprouts and cook 1 hour longer. Use 1/2 cup cornstarch to thicken. |
