ENGLISH TOFFEE 
1 c. butter
3 tbsp. water
4 bars Hersheys milk chocolate
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts

In heavy kettle, cook butter, sugar and water, stirring constantly until it reaches hard crack stage (310 degrees). Remove from burner and add vanilla. Pour on greased cookie sheet. Break bars of chocolate and put on candy. Spread when melted and sprinkle with nuts. Break into pieces.
