MISSISSIPPI MUD CAKE | |
2 c. sugar 2 tbsp. cocoa 2 sticks butter 4 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 1 1/2 c. flour 1 c. coconut, packed 1 1/2 c. nuts, chopped 1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow creme FROSTING: 1 lb. powdered sugar 1 stick butter 1/2 c. Pet milk 1/2 c. cocoa 1 tsp. vanilla Cream sugar, cocoa and butter. Add slightly beaten eggs and vanilla. Mix well and add flour, coconut and nuts and beat 2 minutes. Bake in greased and floured 9 x 13 inch cake pan at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. When cake is done and still hot, spread the marshmallow cream over top. When cake is cool, frost with the frosting ingredients, beaten together. |
