REFRIGERATOR PICKLES 
7-8 med. pickles
1 c. green peppers
1 1/2 c. onions

Wash and clean vegetables. Slice thin in bowl. Put 3-4 tablespoons salt on vegetables. Let set 1 hour; drain off liquid. Mix together 2 1/2 cups sugar, 1 1/2 cups vinegar, 4-5 teaspoon celery seed. When sugar is dissolved, pour over mixture. Let set overnight. Store in corner of refrigerator.
