PAT'S COCONUT MELTS 
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
1 1/3 cups coconut flakes (for rolling)

Mix flour, cornstarch and confectioners' sugar. Blend in butter to form a soft dough. Cover and chill for 1 hour.

Shape dough into 3/4-inch or smaller balls. Roll balls in coconut flakes.

Bake on ungreased cookie sheets at 300°F for 20 to 25 minutes.

Makes 3 dozen.
