1 1/2 c. flour
1 pkg. dry yeast
1 egg
1 c. beer
1/2 c. hot water
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix together flour and yeast. Add remaining ingredients and mix until smooth. Coat fish or seafood with batter and fry in hot oil.
