1 (12 oz.) box Rice Chex cereal 1 (12 oz.) pkg. butterscotch morsels 1 c. creamy peanut butter 1 stick butter 2 c. sifted powdered sugar Spray a very large mixing bowl or pan with non-stick coating. Dump in Rice Chex cereal. In the top of a double boiler, combine butterscotch morsels, creamy peanut butter and butter. Cook and stir over simmering water until melted and smoothly blended. Pour over cereal and toss until evenly coated. Put powdered sugar in a large paper bag. Dump the coated cereal into the sugar, close the bag tightly and shake. Spread out evenly on waxed paper covered surface until set. Break into bite-sized pieces. |
