CHOCOLATE CINNAMON POUND CAKE 
1 c. butter
2 1/2 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. cocoa
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour a tube pan.

Cream butter; add sugar gradually beating mixture until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Sift together the flour, salt, cinnamon, baking powder, and cocoa. Add to butter mixture in fourths, alternating with additions of milk in thirds; add vanilla. Bake about 1 1/2 hours. Serve with Cool Whip, if desired.
