SAND TARTS 
1 c. butter
5 tbsp. powdered sugar
2 c. flour
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. pecans, chopped

Cream butter and powdered sugar. Work in flour, vanilla, and nuts. Form into small logs 1 1/2 inches long or small balls. Bake on ungreased sheet for about 30 minutes or until very lightly brown at 350 degrees. Roll in powdered sugar while still warm.
