TACO SALAD 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 pkg. taco mix
1 (6 oz.) pkg. shredded cheddar cheese
1 sm. can sliced black olives
1 tsp. onion powder
1 1/2 heads lettuce, shredded
2-3 tomatoes, diced
1 (12 oz.) bag taco chips
8 oz. bottle Catalina or Russian dressing

Brown meat and drain grease. Add taco seasoning mix. Cool. In large bowl mix lettuce, tomatoes, olives, onion and cheese. Add meat and crushed taco chips. Mix. Stir in salad dressing or may be served on the side. Makes a good warm weather meal.
