PEPPER STEAK 
1 1/2 lbs. pepper steak, cut in strips
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. soy sauce
2 green peppers, sliced
1 lg. onion, sliced
1 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. water

Place meat in 2-quart glass dish. Add soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir in peppers and onions. Cover with waxed paper and microwave for 14-16 minutes on HIGH.

Mix cornstarch with water and add to dish. Cover and microwave for 2-4 minutes on HIGH or until thickened. Let stand for 5 minutes still covered. Makes 4 servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
