1 1/2 stick butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. nuts
2 c. dates, diced
4 c. corn flakes

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs. Sift flour and soda together and add to the creamed mixture. Mix well. Add nuts, dates, and corn flakes and mix well. Drop by tablespoonfuls on ungreased baking sheets and bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
