FAVORITE GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE | |
1 can (1 lb.) French style green beans, drained 1 can (3 1/2 oz.) French fried onions 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup 1/2 c. milk 1/4 tsp. basil or dried dill 1/2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese 3 slices partially cooked bacon Put alternate layers of drained beans and onion in a casserole. Mix soup, milk and basil. Pour over beans and onions. Sprinkle cheese over top. Arrange 1 inch pieces of bacon on top of cheese. Bake in moderate oven (375 degrees) about 30 minutes. |
