5 med. apples
1/4 c. water
Dash of salt
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Slice and put apples into a saucepan. Add other ingredients and cook until done. Put into pie tin or small casserole.

TOPPING:

1 c. flour
1/2 c. brown sugar
6 tbsp. soft butter
Dash of cinnamon

Mix together with fingers; sprinkle over applesauce. Bake in 375 degree oven 15 to 20 minutes. Serves 6.
