BARBECUED CHICKEN
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tsp. butter
1 c. ketchup
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. chili sauce
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. celery seed
1 tbsp. prepared mustard
1/2 tsp. salt
2 dashes hot pepper sauce
3-4 lb. bone-in chicken breasts

In a saucepan, sauté garlic in butter until tender. Add the next eight ingredients. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and set aside. On the grill, place chicken over low heat and grill for about 30 minutes or until cooked through. (To speed up this process, can parboil the chicken before placing on the grill). Baste with the sauce. Grill about 20 minutes longer, basting and turning the chicken several times.

The secret to perfect bar-b-qued chicken is to grill over a low heat.
