ORIGINAL SPANISH RICE 
2 c. long grain rice
2 tsp. veg. oil
1 med. onion, chopped
1 med. bell pepper, chopped
1 can whole tomatoes, chopped
Cilantro, chopped 2 sm. stem with leaves (opt.)
4 c. water
Salt & pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. cumino, whole or ground
1 can tomato sauce

In a skillet add oil, rice, onion, bell pepper. When the onion are glossy, then add garlic, tomatoes, cumino, salt, pepper, cilantro, water and tomato sauce. Cover and let simmer for 25 to 30 minutes. Stir occasionally.
