EDMUND PAUL'S BROWNIES IN A CONE | |
12 flat-bottom ice cream cones 1 (21 to 23 oz.) box brownie mix, family size 6 oz. chocolate chips 6 tbsp. (3/4 stick) butter Candy sprinkles Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place cones in muffin tins or on a baking sheet. Prepare brownie mix according to package directions. Spoon batter into cones, filling 3/4 full. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until tops are cracked and have risen above the rims of the cones. A cake tester inserted in center will NOT test clean. Remove the cones from oven and cool to room temperature. Melt chocolate chips and butter in a double boiler over hot water, stirring until smooth. Dip the tops of the brownies into the chocolate. If not well covered, dip again. Stand the cones upright and sprinkle the tops with candy sprinkles. Let stand at room temperature until the chocolate hardens before serving. |
