FUDGE AND CARAMEL ICE CREAM CAKE 
1 lb. Oreo cookies, crushed
1/2 c. melted butter
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream, softened
1 c. or 8 oz. caramel sauce
2 c. chopped nuts
2 c. powdered sugar
1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine crumbs and butter. Press into 13 x 9 inch pan. Spread softened ice cream over crust. Freeze. Then pour caramel sauce over top ice cream. If necessary heat sauce to pouring consistency. Sprinkle nuts. Freeze. Put powdered sugar, milk and chips in bowl in microwave. Heat until boiling, stirring often. Add vanilla. Refrigerate until cool. Then pour on top of ice cream. Freeze about 4 hours. Put in refrigerator about 5 minutes before serving.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
