GERMAN APPLE STUFFING 
1 loaf day old white bread
1/3 c. butter
1 medium size (1/2 c.) onion, chopped
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/4 c. chopped celery leaves
2 tbsp. chopped parsley
Salt and pepper to taste
2 c. milk
2 eggs, lightly beaten
3 c. Red Delicious apples, pared, cored, and chopped
1/4 c. raisins

The recipe is a good one. I would recommend adding one tbsp. of sage, 1/2 tbsp. of thyme and two more apples.
