RITZ CRACKER PIE 
4 egg whites
1 c. granulated sugar
18 Ritz crackers (plain), ground or rolled
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. nuts

Beat egg whites until stiff. Add sugar gradually. Beat like a meringue. Add vanilla and baking powder; beat again until blended. Fold in Ritz cracker crumbs and nuts into egg meringue. Pour into a well buttered 9 inch pie plate. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes. Cool. Beat 1/2 pint whipping cream and sweeten. Pour over meringue and sprinkle with chocolate bits.
