FARMER'S CASSEROLE 
2 lb. ground meat
8 sliced carrots
6 sliced celery
3 sliced onions
4 lg. sliced potatoes
Thinly sliced cabbage
Season to taste
1/2 stick butter
Other vegetables can be substituted

Cover the bottom of a 10 x 15 inch cake pan with ground meat. Alternately layer carrots, celery, onion and potatoes with seasonings and pats of butter until casserole is almost full, then cover with thinly sliced cabbage.

Cover with foil and bake at 275 degrees for an hour and a half or until cabbage is cooked.
