ROULADEN | |
1/4 inch thick round steaks (4-5) Salt Pepper Spicy mustard Bacon Chopped onion Dill pickles Water Mushrooms Round steak 1/4 inch thick. If using thicker steaks, cut to 1/4 inch thick. Pound beef to tenderize. Season with salt and pepper. Spread with spicy mustard all over top of rolled out steak. Spread bacon across top of mustard, 2-3 pieces each steak. Next layer add chopped onion and dill pickles, spread across above ingredients. Roll up steaks with ingredients inside and use toothpicks to hold in place. Dip in flour, brown all sides on high heat. Turn down heat; add 1-2 cups water to thicken sauce. At end, when meat is tender, add 2 cups mushrooms. Serve over rice or noodles. |
