7-8 cucumbers, sliced, unpeeled 1/2 c. onion slices 1/2 c. green pepper, sliced 2 c. sugar 1 c. vinegar 1 tbsp. salt 1 tsp. celery seed Combine cucumbers, onion slices and green peppers in a gallon jar. Pour over this the mixture of sugar, vinegar, salt and celery seed. DO NOT COOK. Refrigerate for at least 24 hours before using. Will keep in the refrigerator indefinitely. |
