BEV'S CHOCOLATE PUDDING CAKE | |
1 1/4 c. sugar 1 c. flour 1/2 c. Hershey's cocoa 2 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 c. milk 1/3 c. melted butter 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. packed brown sugar 1 1/4 c. hot water Combine 3/4 cup sugar, flour, 1/4 cup cocoa, baking powder and salt. Stir in milk, butter and vanilla; beat with spoon until smooth. Pour batter into ungreased loaf pan. Mix 1/2 cup sugar, brown sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa; sprinkle evenly over batter. Pour hot water over top. DO NOT MIX. Bake 40 to 45 minutes at 350°F. Let stand 15 minutes. Serve hot with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. |
