SUMMER SAUSAGE | |
1 c. water 2 tsp. liquid smoke 1/2 tsp. onion salt 1/4 tsp. garlic salt 1 tbsp. mustard seed 3 tbsp. quick cure salt Mix ingredients in a bowl. Now add 2 pounds hamburger; mix well until hamburger turns tan color. Set in refrigerator for 24 hours then remove from refrigerator. Divide hamburger into 2 rolls, long and narrow. Place on shiny side of heavy foil. Wrap and poke holes in bottom of foil and place each roll on a rack in a pan and bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Unroll foil, place rolls on paper towels to absorb grease. Ready to eat. |
