1 c. Crisco or butter
2 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. sour milk or buttermilk
1 c. cocoa
2 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
Dash of salt
1 c. boiling water

Cream shortening, sugar and add eggs beaten. Add sour milk and beat well. Sift cocoa, flour, soda together 3 times. Add to first mixture well, finally adding boiling water and beat well. Bake in baking pan or glass pan at 350 degrees.
