CHERRY ALMOND GLAZE | |
1 tsp. butter 1/4 c. slivered almonds 1 (12 oz.) jar cherry preserves 2 tbsp. white corn syrup 1/4 c. red wine vinegar 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 1/4 tsp. cloves In pie plate, place butter and almonds in microwave and toast. Use 1 1/2 quart casserole and stir together all other ingredients, cover and microwave on high 5 to 7 minutes, stirring after 4 minutes. Stir in toasted almonds just before glazing a ham or pork roast. |
