ALMOND TEA BREAD | |
2 1/2 c. sugar 3 eggs 1 1/8 c. oil 3 c. flour 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 1/2 c. milk 1 1/2 tbsp. poppy seeds 1 1/2 tsp. almond flavoring 1 1/2 tsp. butter flavoring 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla Beat for 1 to 2 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or longer. Yield: 6 mini loaves. Glaze while still very warm. 3/4 c. sugar 1/4 c. orange juice 1/2 tsp. almond flavoring 1/2 tsp. butter flavoring 1/2 tsp. vanilla Blend together and pour over very warm loaves. |
