WELSH COOKIES 
4 c. flour, sifted
2 c. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp salt
3 tsp. nutmeg
2 c. currents or raisins
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. lard

Mix all ingredients together, mix well. Roll out, cut in round shapes with a glass. Add a little milk if dough is stiff.
