BROWNIE DROPS | |
2 pkgs. (4 oz. each) sweet cooking chocolate 1 tbsp. butter 2 eggs 3/4 c. sugar 1/4 c. all-purpose flour 1/4 tsp. double acting baking powder 1/8 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 3/4 c. finely chopped pecans 1/2 tsp. vanilla Mix chocolate and butter in saucepan over very low heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Meanwhile, beat eggs until foamy. Gradually beat in sugar and continue beating until very thick (about 5 minutes). Blend in chocolate mixture. Add flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon; blend well. Stir in nuts and vanilla. Drop from teaspoon onto greased baking sheets. Place a pecan half on each cookie, if desired. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes or until firm when lightly touched. Store in lightly covered container. Makes about 3 dozen cookies. |
