PUFFY FRENCH TOAST 
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1 egg
2-3 slices bread

Mix dry ingredients. Add milk and egg. Beat well in a bowl wide enough to dip bread into. Dip bread slices into batter and fry in 1/4" hot oil in frying pan. Top with powdered sugar, syrup or fruit.
